In anticipation of the Global Wind Day, a group of third- and fourth-grade students from the “Sava Maksimović” Elementary School from Mramorko visited the Čibuk 1 wind park.

The goal of the visit was for the children to learn more about the wind park located in their area and the importance of wind as a source of energy.

After the introductory lecture, elementary students had the opportunity to tour the wind park and see the turbines up close. After that, employees from the wind farm organized a fun and educational workshop on making paper windmills, which the schoolchildren took as a souvenir from Čibuk 1.

After an exciting day, the students returned home enriched with new knowledge, encouraged to think about the importance of preserving the environment and using renewable energy sources.
