Director, Head of Energy Europe at EBRD Grzegorz Zielinski spoke at a panel on wind energy development in Europe at the WindEurope conference in Bilbao. He cited Serbia as an example of good practice where the EBRD has numerous activities and significant implemented wind energy projects.
He expressed hope that after the elections, the situation will be unlocked and that the implementation of the Law on renewable energy sources will continue, and that the auction system will be established.
The panel was moderated by Ivan Komušanac from WindEurope, and the remaining speakers were heads of wind energy associations from Germany, the UK and Sweden.
