NOTIFICATION ON PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The association Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia, with registered seat at the address Bulevar Zorana Djindjica 73, floor 4, apartment 10, Belgrade (Novi Beograd), registration number 28318162 (hereinafter the „Controller“), due to the organization and holding of the RES Serbia 2025 Conference, which will be held on 17 and 18 September 2025 (hereinafter the “Conference“) may process certain personal data of the participants of the Conference (hereinafter the “Participant“).
1. Purpose of processing
Personal data will be processed and used exclusively for the purpose of holding the Conference and promoting the Participants. The Controller collects and processes the personal data of the Participants for the purpose of organizing the Conference, and the collected data may be shared with other Participants of the Conference for the purpose of networking and promoting the Participants. Photos and/or recordings of the Participants during the Conference may be published on the Controller’s website, social media accounts and/or YouTube channel, in order to inform the public about the Controller’s activities and to promote the Conference.
The photos and/or recordings may be used solely by the Controller for the above-mentioned purpose.
For any use of the photos and/or recordings for other purposes, the Controller will request the separate consent from the Participant.
2. Personal data that will be collected
When registering for the Conference, the Controller collects the following personal data of the Participant:
- name and surname,
- contact details (telephone and e-mail address).
- address
During the Conference, the event will be photographed and recorded, and this category of personal data will also be collected from the Participant.
3. Legal basis and retention of data
The legal basis for data processing is the consent hereby given by the Participant, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“Official Gazette of RS“, no. 87/2018) (hereinafter the “Law“).
Personal data will be used and stored only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose of data processing, and no later than 3 (three) months after the end of the Conference. Photos and video recordings of the Participant, that are published on the Controller’s webpage and/or social media accounts, if any, will be kept on the respective medium permanently. The Participant has the right to revoke the consent for data processing at any time, and can do so via the e-mail address: [office@oie.rs]. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing performed until the consent was revoked.
4. The Participant’s rights
The Participant has all rights in accordance with the Law, including:
- access to his/her personal data,
- request of correction or deletion of his/her personal data,
- restrict the processing of his/her personal data.
In the event that the Participant believes that the data processing is not carried out in accordance with the Law, he/she may contact the Controller via e-mail address: [office@oie.rs] or file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection – Bulevar kralja Aleksandra no. 15, Belgrade.

5. Consent
Considering all the above, the participant confirms that by filing in the data and submitting the application for participation in the Conference, he/she gives consent to the processing of the data necessary for the organization of the Conference. The hereby given consent includes also permission for the Controller to share photographs and/or recordings of the Participant on its website and/or social networks to promote the Conference, as well as the data collected by the Controler be shared with the other Conference Participants, some of whom may be abroad.
