Junior Green Learners

The Association Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia pays special attention to the care of the youngest, and projects that contribute to educating and informing children about climate change and clean energy in our daily work are not uncommon. Active support and organization of various events dedicated to the youngest inhabitants of the planet, with the aim of spreading awareness of the importance of green energy, environmental protection and preservation of natural resources among the youngest population, are part of the daily activities of the Association RES Serbia.

World Wind Day - Alibunar 2023

In cooperation with the European association WindEurope, the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia has provided a translation into Serbian of two children’s books on wind energy. As inclusiveness is one of the values we strive for as an organization, projects such as a book written by six women from five different countries for the youngest inhabitants of our planet, will always be supported by the Association of RES Serbia. When I Grow Up

In their desire to inspire children and other young people around the world to become passionate about clean energy and developing the many opportunities it offers, six ladies from five different countries put together this book about 21 people who are working on clean energy to help solve the climate crisis. As the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia shares their belief that children and young people have the power to help change the world for the better, the offer to contribute to the ‘When I Grow Up’ project and provide a translation of the book into Serbian was accepted with pleasure.

Let the Wind Blow

Inspired by the conversation between two moms (a Polish wind advocate and a British journalist) and a talented young Iranian artist, this comic tells the story of how renewable energy, like wind, will contribute to the transformation towards a cleaner and healthier world for all. Through colorful illustrations and language adapted to the age of the youngest, ‘Let the Wind Blow’ presents an interesting approach to educating children about climate change and the importance of renewable energy sources in the fight to mitigate their effects.
