We are proud to announce that Anne-Catherine de Tourtier, Vice President of the Nordex Mediterranean Region, will be among the distinguished speakers at the RES SERBIA 2025 conference.
Anne-Catherine brings over two decades of experience in the wind energy sector. She joined Nordex in 2003 as its fourth employee and has since held several senior leadership roles in Sales and Project Development. Since 2017, she has served as Vice President of the Mediterranean Region, playing a pivotal role in expanding Nordex’s presence.
A key figure in the launch of Nordex’s operations in France, Anne-Catherine became Managing Director of Nordex France & Benelux in 2012. Her international background has shaped her global perspective and leadership style.
Anne-Catherine holds degrees in Political Science from Berlin and Paris, and a Master of International Affairs (MIA) from Columbia University.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the energy transition, Anne-Catherine was recently named Knight of the National Order of Merit (Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite) by French President Emmanuel Macron, on behalf of the Ministry of Energy. This prestigious honor celebrates her unwavering commitment to renewable energy. The Ordre National du Mérite, established in 1963 by President Charles de Gaulle, is one of France’s highest honors, awarded for distinguished service in public, civil, military, or private sectors.
Beyond her role at Nordex, Anne-Catherine has been a driving force in the wind energy sector as President of France Renouvelables since 2021 and Board Member since 2015, significantly advancing the development of wind power in France.
