How to Implement Renewable Energy Projects in the Region?

Nikola Oklobdžija, CEO of Fortis Energy and Construction for Eastern Europe, will speak at the RES SERBIA 2025 conference on the implementation of renewable energy projects in Serbia and the region. 

Nikola Oklobdžija is a manager with many years of experience in the field of renewable energy sources and project management. During his career, he has held managerial positions in companies involved in the development, construction and management of large projects across Europe.

With extensive experience in the development and financing of renewable energy projects, Mr. Oklobdžija manages Fortis Energy’s strategic expansion in the Western Balkans, which includes the development of renewable energy projects with a total capacity of over 1600 MW.

He is academically educated at the University of Sheffield, where he completed his bachelor’s and master’s studies in management, and holds an internationally recognized CMI diploma in the field of strategic management and leadership. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with stakeholders from the private and public sectors, as well as with international financial institutions.
