What does the future of the green transition look like in the region? The Elnos Group has the answer. As a key player in the most ambitious green projects, the company confirms its status as one of the safest allies of the energy transition.
At the RES SERBIA 2025 conference, of which it is the Gold Sponsor, Elnos Group will once again show why it is a leader in the energy transition on 17th and 18th September in Vrdnička kula – strongly supporting the direction towards a sustainable future.
With a presence in the markets of 18 countries across the region and Europe, Elnos Group has built a strong position as a strategic partner in the development of renewable energy. The company has proven its commitment to a sustainable future through projects that have resulted in the installation of more than 2 GW of renewable energy.
Wind parks of the region
The local public is putting the Elnos Group in focus this year for a reason. Six years ago, they were key actors in the construction of Čibuk 1 (158 MW), the largest wind park in the Western Balkans, and this year they continue their mission with the construction of Čibuk 2 (155 MW), further strengthening Banat as a regional center of renewable energy sources.
On the map of significant and current projects in the field of wind energy, the role of this company as an important actor in the construction of the Gvozd wind park in Montenegro (55 MW), the implementation of which has begun, is emphasized. At the same time, in North Macedonia, the final works on the Perun wind park (30 MW) are nearing completion, while until recently they were a key link in the construction of the Krivača wind park (103 MW) in the very east of Serbia.

Flagship Hydropower Projects
Elnos Group also stands out in the field of hydropower, where it is intensively involved in the implementation of the Dabar HPP project (159.15 MW) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the major revitalization of the Perućica hydro power plant (307 MW) in Montenegro. These two projects represent monumental engineering challenges and key steps in the development of the region’s hydropower potential.

At the heart of solar transformation
The company’s teams are important actors in the large-scale solar transformation of the region, especially in Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Projects such as solar power plants Tarabnik (26.5 MWp), Novalja (20.9 MWp), Vidukin Gaj (25 MWp), Bileća (60 MWp) place them among the key carriers of the current solar momentum in these countries.

Bold Solutions to Shape a Green Europe
Elnos Group has proven itself through projects that push the boundaries of the European energy sector. From the NordLink HVDC interconnection between Germany and Norway, to the Burfell 2 HPP (100 MW) in Iceland, to the Morgavel solar power plant (48.96/44 MW AC) in Portugal, their results speak for themselves. Participation in the carbon-neutral High Speed 2 project in the UK further confirms their commitment to creating sustainable solutions that are changing Europe’s energy landscape.
