At the last session, the Government of Serbia adopted the Decision on the development of the Spatial Plan of the special purpose area of the reversible hydroelectric power plant “Bistrica” and the hydroelectric power plant “Potpeć”, as well as the decision on the Strategic Environmental Assessment for that project.
Thus, the process of development of RHE Bistrica has officially begun, which is of crucial importance for the development and integration of RES projects into the Serbian power system.
The framework border of the Spatial Plan includes parts of the municipalities of Nova Varoš, Priboj and Prijepolje.
The spatial plan will contain elements of detailed regulation in accordance with the relevant technical documentation, which will enable its direct implementation, in accordance with the law.
The deadline for drafting the Spatial Plan is 12 months from the date of entry into force of this Decision.
The funds for the development of the Spatial Plan will be provided by the PE EPS it was published in the Official Gazette of RS.
