WPP has become a new regular member of RES Serbia

Wind Park Plandiste d.o.o. (“WPP”) has become a new regular member of Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia (RES  Serbia www.oie.rs ), a business Association, established with support of EBRD, by the biggest Serbian wind energy producers

 WPP is established as SPV with unique goal: construction and operation of the wind farm Plandiste 1 with a production capacity of maximum 102MW.

The introduction of the latest turbines, with a capacity of up to 6 MW, Wind Park Plandiste is going to produce green energy for 85 000 households.

WPP site is located in the municipality of Plandiste in southern Banat district, 65 km NE from Belgrade. It is positioned in a low-lying region which benefits from a strong local southeastern wind known as “Kosava”.

Project is owned by NIS Gazprom Neft and MET Renewables AG, each holding 50% equity share in the project company.
