The fifth regular session of the Assembly of the Association RES Serbia was held on Monday, February 24, in the premises of the law firm Petrikić & Partners. We also celebrated the 4th anniversary!
The Assembly, as the highest body of the Association, adopted the financial report for 2024, the work report for 2024 and the work plan for 2025, i.e. until the next, sixth regular session of the Assembly of the Association.
The Assembly elected the members of the Managment Board: Vladimir Milanović, Miloš Colić and Christophe Bols for a new four-year term.

Last year was extremely successful for the Association – we organized the RES SERBIA 2024 conference and numerous events, were present in the media, all with the aim of further improving the promotion of green energy.
The number of members has increased by more than 36 percent, and the Association currently has 30 regular, 18 associate and one honorary member. In 2024, the Association RES Serbia continued its active membership in the leading European associations: WindEurope and SolarPower Europe.
Recently, the second round of auctions was successfully completed, for which the Association gave comments in order to improve the regulatory framework.
We also recalled all the media appearances and organized events, as well as the most important event of the RES SERBIA 2024 conference, which brought together the green elite of the region in Vrdnik over two days.
Last year, the Association started implementing the project “Raising Awareness on Climate Change and Green Transition” with the financial assistance of the European Union and WWF-Adria. We have recently published a research that has received a lot of media attention, and the continuation of the implementation of the project awaits us in the coming period.
Plans for 2025 adopted at the fifth session of the Assembly of the Association
At the fifth session of the Assembly of the Association, the key plans of the Association RES Serbia for 2025 were adopted, which focus on improving legislation, protecting the interests of members of the RES sector, strengthening partner networks and internal membership. This initiative aims to develop the working bodies of the association, as well as to improve the reception, development and engagement of new members. It is also planned to intensify activities on informing the public and promoting the renewable energy sector, in order to encourage greater engagement and recognition of this area. These activities will contribute to the further strengthening of the renewable energy sector and its members, as well as the sustainable development of energy solutions in Serbia.

In the year ahead, we continue to be the voice of the RES industry. We are expecting a series of events and, traditionally, the RES SERBIA 2025 conference, which will be held again in Vrdnik on September 17 and 18.
After the successful Assembly, a cocktail party was held, which, in addition to the members of the Association, was attended by representatives of the embassies of Canada, UAE, Belgium, Israel, Spain, representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Energy, EPS and other friends and partners.
