SEEPEX managing director once again at the RES Serbia 2024 conference – How much will we pay for electricity

SEEPEX managing director Miloš Mladenović will take part in the RES Serbia 2024 conference, which will be held on 23rd and 24th September 2024 at the Vrdnička Kula ethno in Vrdnik, where he will open new topics in the field of electricity with the participants of one of the most popular panel discusions.

Last year, he pointed out that the CBAM topic can destroy the Serbian economy, and that RES are key in reducing the impact of the cross-border carbon price adjustment mechanism.

Since 2008, he has been appointed to TSO EMS as Assistant General Manager for Transmission System Management and Electricity Market, while in 2010 he was appointed Executive Director for Electricity Management and Market.

Starting from 2012 he has worked as a Director for International and Regulatory Affairs, at the same time performing the role of the ENTSO-E Board member and Convenor of the ENTSO-E Regional group for SEE.

With comprehensive regional and European experience, as the member of the ENTSO-E Board and ENTSO-E Market Committee, as well as the chairmen of the SEE RG within ENTSO-E MC, he becomes one of the key players in the process of the SEE Electricity Market integration and EU Target Model implementation in the SEE region.

He designed the business model and was one of the most important actors during the establishment of SEEPEX (Southeast European Power Exchange), the Serbian Electricity Market Operator established by TSO EMS and EPEX SPOT, where he has been since a director since July 2015.

Since December 2022, he has also been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of ADEX Group, a regional power exchange established through the corporate merger of SEEPEX and BSP (Slovenian Power Exchange).
