When the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia was founded four years ago, the goal was ambitious – to improve the business environment in the field of renewable energy sources, which have only just begun to enter the focus of the public.
Today, as we celebrate our fourth birthday, we can say that not only have we achieved our initial goal, but we have also surpassed the dreams we had when we founded this organization.
From an association founded by three companies, the Association RES Serbia has reached the voice of the industry, which brings together 50 members, including the largest producers of electricity from wind and solar, contractors and equipment sellers, regional and global giants. Today, RES Serbia is the only association in Europe that has the EBRD, the European Investment Bank and the IFC Group of the World Bank as its members.
There are many reasons to be proud of our work – RES SERBIA conferences have traditionally brought together the green business elite for years; we actively contribute to the improvement of the regulatory framework; We conduct analyses on prosumers, publish guides for investors, and inform the public about the importance of green energy. Since its establishment, we have been promoting greater participation of women in energy, launching projects on youth and climate change, aware that the energy transition is a topic that concerns all of us.
And most importantly, thanks to our members, the share of green energy in Serbia is increasing day by day.
