The European Association WindEurope, of which the Association RES Serbia is a proud member, organized another major annual event dedicated to wind energy – WindEurope Annual Event 2025, which took place from 8th to 10th April in Copenhagen.
The annual WindEurope event brings together key players in the European and global wind energy market, and this year attracted more than 15,000 participants. Among the participants was the Manager of the Association, Danijela Isailović, as well as numerous members of the Association RES Serbia, representatives of the academic community and the public sector of Serbia.
One of the central themes of the event was the need to accelerate the energy transition, with wind energy recognized as a key factor due to its lower costs and stability compared to fossil fuels. Experts emphasized the need to simplify the permitting process, increase support for electrification and ensure stable investments in wind energy in order to achieve the goals of the energy transition.
In addition to the rich conference program, participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge, experience and innovative ideas that will shape the future of the sector. The WindEurope Annual Event 2025 once again confirmed the growing importance of wind energy in the global energy transition.
