Representatives of RES Serbia at the conference “Energy in the Balkans”

The conference ,,Energy in the Balkans: Transition to Renewable Energy Sources and Improving Energy Networks’’ brought together leading experts in the field of energy and renewable energy sources.

At panel No. 2 entitled ,,Energy Transition: Transition to Renewable Energy Sources” moderated by the representative of our associate member Karanović&Partners lawyer Petar Mitrović, one of the panelists was Miloš Colić, Chairman of the Board of RES Serbia and Director of New Energy Solutions, our regular member.

Panel No. 4 entitled “Energy Future of the Region’’ was moderated by Danijela Isailović, Manager of the Association Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia, while one of the panelists was Željko Đurić, a member of the Board of RES Serbia and a representative of our regular member Vetroelektrane Balkana.

The conference was opened by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlović and the Ambassador of Italy in Belgrade Carlo Lo Cascio. Francesco Corbo, Regional Director for Energy of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), spoke as one of the keynote speakers.

The conference was held on May 10, 2022 in Belgrade, organized by Confindustria Est Europa and Confindustria Serbia, with the support of Confindustria. One of the partners of the conference was the Association Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia.
