Financial Director of Masdar, Niall Hannigan is participating in the RES Serbia 2023 conference, which is being held on September 14th, in the ethno complex Vrdnička Kula on Fruška Gora.
He will share with the participants the knowledge gained during more than three decades of work in various sectors, including renewable energy sources, in multicultural environments from Asia to Australia, from Europe to Africa.
He has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial management, risk management, business and financial strategy, finance, commercial negotiation and business development. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Working in various geographic markets and areas, from Asia and Australia, through Europe and the Middle East, to North Africa and the Indian subcontinent, Hannigan has gained enviable international experience in multicultural environments. He has developed skills in a variety of sectors, including renewable energy, real estate development and services, asset management and manufacturing, sales and distribution.
Prior to joining Masdar, he was CFO at Zabeel Properties from 2008 to 2010, where he was responsible for advising the Management Board on medium and long-term development strategy. He also managed business development, risk management and commercial asset management activities, leading key commercial and financial negotiations on behalf of the company.
He was the regional financial director of Emaar Properties from 2005 to 2008. He dealt with financial management and business risk management of the company’s international real estate development in the Middle East and North Africa region.
