Manager of RES Serbia on the new regulatory framework at the conference of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce

Manager of RES Serbia Danijela Isailović participated in the conference “Application of renewable energy sources and energy efficient solutions in industry in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina”, held in Belgrade. The event was organized by the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection of the Federal Republic of Germany.

We had the opportunity to learn more about the importance of implementing more energy-efficient measures in the industry, legal frameworks, the state and potentials of the market, and the advantages of RES, both in Germany, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, German companies presented their technology and solutions.

In the first block of presentations related to RES in the industry, Danijela Isailović gave a presentation on the topic “Renewable energy sources in Serbia – market overview and a new regulatory framework in the industry”, where, in addition to presenting the work of the RES Serbia, she spoke about the opportunities of industry in Serbia after the adoption of new regulatory frameworks.

Some of the opportunities she highlighted were profitable returns, market growth and strategic location, while speaking about the challenges, she noted the need for better infrastructure and integration, as well as limitations in energy storage.

The presentation concluded with an invitation to a conference organized by RES Serbia in Vrdnik on 23 and 24 September this year.
