Director of the EPS Free Market Trade Sector, David Žarković, is a participant in the panel on the electricity market at the RES Serbia 2023 conference, which will be held on September 14th in Vrdnik.
David Žarković started his career at Elektroprivreda Srbije in 1999 as an intern in the Electricity Generation and Transmission Sector and ever since he has been developing professionally in the company.
In 2005, he moved to the Electricity Trade Sector, where in 2010 he has been appointed the Head of Free Market Trade Department.
Since then, he has been developing an electricity trade function at domestic and regional power exchanges creating thus conditions for Elektroprivreda Srbije to become a full member of the Serbian, Hungarian, Croatian, Slovenian and Montenegrin power exchanges. He has joined the Company to the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET).
He successfully implements the IT System Implementation Project for electricity trade and risk assessment in trade, as well as for the establishment and upgrading of business processes in power planning and electricity trade.
He is also the chairman of the market committee of the South East European Power Exchange (SEEPEX), a member of the professional association CIGRE Serbia – Study Committee C5, as well as the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET).
David was born in 1970 in Belgrade. He graduated from School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade in 1999 and was awarded BSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
