The Chief Executive Officer of WIND EUROPE visited the Kovačica wind farm, owned by the Israeli company Enlight, one of the founders of the Association RES Serbia. Mr Dickson said he was impressed with the quality of the facility built and the management of the operating power plant. He expressed satisfaction with the good relationship between the local community and investors, which was confirmed by Petar Višnjički, Deputy Mayor of Kovačica, who attended the visit. RES Serbia has been a member of WIND EUROPE since July this year.
WIND EUROPE Chief Executive Officer Giles Dickson and RES Serbia Management also met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlović and the team of the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia. The potential of wind energy, future institutions and the improvement of cooperation with the largest association for wind energy, of which the Association RES Serbia is a member, were discussed at the meeting.
