The wind industry breaks records – Will this year be better than the last?

Last year, many records were broken in the wind industry, with the cumulative capacity of wind farms surpassing 1 TW. The latest data from the European wind industry will be presented in Vrdnik by Viktoriya Kerelska, Director of Advocacy & Messaging at WindEurope, who will be the moderator of the wind energy panel at the RES SERBIA 2024 conference.

Viktoriya Kerelska is Director of Advocacy & Messaging at WindEurope. She coordinates the Association’s response on policy and regulatory developments affecting wind energy at national and EU level. This includes e.g. EU renewable energy targets, electricity market design, permitting, State aid and industrial policies.

Prior to joining WindEurope in 2015, Viktoriya has been working in the renewable energy sector for the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Energy Cities and the European Commission. A Bulgarian national, Viktoriya has a background in political affairs and holds a M.A. in International Energy from SciencesPo Paris.
