Representatives of the Renewable Energy Sources (RES) Association of Serbia, Mrs. Danijela Isailović, Manager and Mr. Željko Đurić, Chairman of the Board of Directors visited the Embassy of Finland in Belgrade where they presented the main goals of this recently established Association to H.E. Kimmo Lahdevirta, Ambassador of Finland to Serbia.
Taaleri Energia, Finnish company, is shareholder (30%) of Cibuk 1, the biggest operational wind farm in Serbia. Taaleri Energia, as a Finnish renewable energy leader, is interested to continue investment in Serbia and region.
Representatives of Association explained to H. E. that Association was established with support of European Bank of Reconstruction and Development ( EBRD) and kindly asked for the support in establishment cooperation with international organizations within European Union.
Representatives of the Association expressed their hope for the RES Association to become a national association that will connect private companies but also cooperate with state institutions, international organizations, educational entities and the media, with the aim to improve the business environment in the field of green energy and sustainable development. Intention of RES Serbia is to be key player in renewable sector of Serbia and integrative subject between different stakeholders.
The support of the Finland Embassy is of great importance for the Association since and we hope that we will have a lot of a mutual activities.
