8.2 Zagreb d.o.o. is an engineering company specialized in performing technical inspections of wind turbines, and a part of the well-known 8.2 Group from Germany, which has done more than 65.000 technical inspections all over the world. The company was founded this year by three established experts in the industry of renewable energy sources: Megajoule Adria, 8.2 Portugal and Manfred Lührs.
The services that 8.2 Zagreb provides are: independent technical inspections of wind turbines and solar power plants, inspections after commissioning, after warranty expiration, periodic and conditional inspections, analysis of damages and their causes, grid connection expertise, lifetime extension assessments, load assessment, component inspections (blades, nacelle, etc.), and performance and failure analysis.
From its establishment until today, the company has had three projects of wind turbine inspections, two of which were in Croatia and one in Montenegro. A total of 16 wind turbines were inspected, for each of them an expert opinion was given on the condition and possible causes of defects with recommendations for further actions.
Clients of the company, thanks to the large 8.2 network of experts and the services provided by their founders, have at their disposal a total of more than 200 experts who have knowledge in all phases of project development.
