Chris Noah, Regional Director EMEA – Power and Renewables at Aon will speak at this year’s conference RES SERBIA 2026 in Vrdnik for the first time. Chris Noah started his insurance career in 1994 in the private and personal lines sector as an account executive.
Chris then in 2000 moved into the commercial/corporate sector with a local regional broker as a client account executive winning and servicing all size of client both UK and global in various industries. Chris then developed to various management, and Director’s roles over the next 10 years with several leading UK brokers.
In 2010 Chris then joined Gallagher UK as MD for one of their largest retail offices. It was soon after this that Chris developed and set up an energy and construction specialism winning and servicing traditional and renewable power generation clients, both developers, operators and main contractors. Chris also took on the role as UK Global Energy Practice Leader.
Chris then moved solely to be the MD of the UK, Ireland and EU renewable energy specialism for retail. He built out a team that would provide a full consultative service on risk management, design, planning, loss mitigation both contractual and lending advice and ultimately insurance placement for mid and large projects for investors, operators and developers. Over the last 10 years Chris has worked with various clients who have developed some major infrastructure projects – Synchronous Condenser for the National Grid.
Chris has significant experience working on Wind, BESS, Solar, Bio, Anaerobic digestion, Hydrogen, Synchronous Condensers, Pyrolysis, Gas STOR, Diesel Power, EV infrastructure projects across UK, US and Europe, mainly with other territories such as New Zealand, Falklands, Sudan, Dubai.
In addition, Chris has been involved in providing pre planning and construction advice on some of the largest data centers being constructed in the UK and Nordics.
