The Association RES Serbia has once again confirmed its role as the leading regional platform for business networking and cooperation. During the past week, representatives of the Association visited Croatia and toured the active construction site of the Šestanovac 1 and 2 solar power plants, a project that represents an example of synergy and expertise of the member companies of RES Serbia.
Members of the Association are successfully carrying out work on the construction site and Fractal has been entrusted with expert supervision of the project. Technical support in the implementation of this investment is provided by the company New Energy Solutions.

Integrated Battery Storage
The Šestanovac 1 and 2 solar power plants will have a total installed capacity of 23 MW. What makes this project particularly significant and technologically advanced is the integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) with a total capacity of 75 MWh.
Such a configuration enables grid stabilization and more efficient management of energy obtained from renewable sources, which is crucial for accelerating Europe’s energy transition.

RES Serbia as a Platform for European Networking
The joint engagement of Elnos, Fractal, and New Energy Solutions on the project in Croatia shows that the capacities and expertise of RES Serbia members go beyond national frameworks.
The visit to the construction site in Šestanovac is confirmation that the Association is successfully fulfilling one of its primary missions: creating a strong network of professionals and companies capable of delivering the most complex energy projects at the regional and European level.
