Masdar Taaleri Generation is one of the founding members of the Association RES Serbia with their first wind farm Čibuk 1, while Čibuk 2 is also a member of RES Serbia. Masdar’s commitment to Serbia dates back to 2019, when the 158 MW Čibuk 1 wind farm began supplying clean electricity to the national grid. As Serbia’s largest utility-scale wind project, it generates enough electricity to power around 113,000 homes.

Masdar is building on this strong foundation through the Čibuk 2 development, which will increase Masdar’s total renewable energy capacity in Serbia to 312 MW upon completion. The project reflects their ambition to deepen their presence in the Balkans while advancing towards their global target of 100 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
