The upcoming RES SERBIA 2026 conference continues its tradition of opening key topics, and this year’s panel dedicated to the electricity market will be moderated by Marijan Rančić, Director of Business Development at New Energy Solutions.
Marijan Rančić is an energy expert with more than 20 years of experience spanning development finance, investments in renewable energy, and power systems. As a seasoned development professional and energy specialist at the IFC (World Bank Group), he has a proven track record of delivering top-quality services to clients across various regions.
He has successfully worked on dozens of development, advisory, lending, and public-private partnership projects throughout Europe and Central Asia, covering renewable energy, green energy financing, electricity generation, and electricity markets. In addition to a degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, he holds a Master’s in Quantitative Finance (M.Sc.) and brings extensive practical experience from both institutional and commercial perspectives in energy project development. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and a licensed engineer in Serbia.
