Fortis Energy – Gold Sponsor at RES SERBIA 2026

With more than three decades of expertise and a portfolio of 2 GW of operational capacity in Europe, Fortis Energy reaffirms its leadership in Europe’s energy transition. As the Gold Sponsor of RES SERBIA 2026, Fortis brings forward the vision of the “green baseload” model – reliable and low‑carbon energy built on the synergy of solar, wind, and battery storage systems.

Fortis Energy is an international renewable energy investor and Independent Power Producer (IPP) built
upon over thirty years of corporate expertise and a twelve-year focused growth strategy in renewables.
Operating across a broad geographic expanse from the Netherlands and CEE to the Mediterranean, the
Balkans and Türkiye, Fortis is an active participant in Europe’s energy transition.

Fortis implements a technology-driven green baseload strategy designed to provide uninterrupted,
competitive and low-carbon power by integrating diverse renewable sources — solar, wind and battery
energy storage systems — mirroring the reliability of traditional baseload generation without the carbon
footprint.

Fortis operates on a balanced growth model that integrates environmental responsibility with economic
scalability, underpinned by strict corporate governance, transparency and risk management principles.

Fortis Energy currently holds a 3.5 GW development pipeline across Europe, with a strategic objective to
advance 1.28 GW of this capacity to RTB and COD within two years. This portfolio is structurally designed
as hybrid combinations integrating solar and wind generation with BESS to ensure grid stability and green
baseload output. The development pipeline includes 1,303 MW in Serbia comprising 509 MWe of wind,
489 MWp of solar and 305 MWh of storage; 170 MWp of solar and 60 MWh of storage in Kosovo*; 1.2 GW
of wind and 350 MWh of storage in Italy; 236 MWp of solar, 210 MWe of wind and 100 MWh of storage in
Albania; 41 MWp of solar and 52 MWh of storage in North Macedonia; and 20 MWp of solar in Bosnia and
Herzegovina.

Beyond organic development, Fortis actively pursues mergers and acquisitions as a core pillar of its
growth strategy, targeting operational assets, ready-to-build projects and development-stage portfolios
across its focus markets. This M&A capability enables Fortis to accelerate capacity growth, access new
geographies and deploy capital efficiently alongside its pipeline development activities.
As energy-intensive digital infrastructure continues to expand across Europe, Fortis is strategically
positioned to serve the growing power demands of data centre developments through its hybrid green
baseload assets.

Anticipating that the modern energy market will be trade-centric over the next decade, Fortis has
strategically shifted its primary focus toward large-scale asset ownership, portfolio management and
capital deployment. The Fortis Commodities division has been actively executing electricity trading,
carbon trading and derivative market transactions for the past two years. Supported by a robust capital
structure, disciplined financial management and a focus on predictable cash flows, Fortis aims to
become a globally recognised renewable energy investor listed on European stock exchanges by 2030.

Fortis Energy is driven by a mission to foster not only economic growth but also substantial social
benefits. Creating local employment opportunities and prioritising environmental protection constitute
the core principles of its operations. Fortis is positioned as a trusted partner and stakeholder in
establishing a clean, sustainable and efficient energy model that generates long-term value for all.
